Staff Tools

Staff Tools is a ModCP-focused utility plugin for MyBB 1.8 that adds several quality-of-life tools for forum staff.

Features

• Recent Posts Review - Review recent visible posts from one ModCP page, with links to the post, edit page, profile, and warning form.
  
  
• New Member Watchlist - Surface posts from recently registered or low-post-count members.
  
  
• Duplicate Account Finder - Search by username or UID to find accounts sharing registration or last-known IP data. Staff with IP Search permission can see matching IP values.
  
  
• Staff Task Queue - Create staff tasks, assign them to members from configured staff groups, claim tasks, edit your own open tasks, mark assigned tasks done, and leave completion notes.
  
  
• Assignment PMs - Optionally PM staff when a task is assigned or reassigned to them.
  
  
• Staff Action Digest - Summarize recent moderator-log activity over a configurable lookback window.
  
  
• ModCP Snapshot - Adds a quick Staff Tools summary panel to the ModCP home page.
  
  
• AdminCP Toggles - Enable or disable each module from the Staff Tools settings page.
  

Permissions

Staff Tools uses existing MyBB staff access. IP values in Duplicate Finder are only shown to users who already have IP Search permission or AdminCP access. Staff task removal is admin-only.

Installation

1. Upload the contents of the
   
   Code:

   Upload/
   folder to your forum root.
   
   
2. Go to AdminCP -> Configuration -> Plugins.
   
   
3. Install and activate Staff Tools.
   
   
4. Review settings under AdminCP -> Configuration -> Settings -> Staff Tools.
   

Upgrade Notes

Version 1.0.0 adds new module toggles, plugin templates, and a [ICODE]staff_tools_tasks[/ICODE] database table. Activating the plugin backfills missing release assets, task columns, and setting labels without resetting saved setting values.
