Eine neue Erweiterung wurde veröffentlicht: Stop Invisible Mode
Zitat:Stop Invisible Mode
Version: 2.2
Compatibility: MyBB 1.8.x
Author: Terzier
Description
This plugin lets you control which usergroups are allowed to use Invisible Mode ("Hide me from the Who's Online list").
Unlike older template-edit methods, this plugin does not modify any templates. The original [c]{$canbeinvisible}[/c] variable stays intact, so install and uninstall are clean and fully reversible.
When the plugin is active, only the usergroups you specify may enable invisible mode. All other members still see the Privacy section in User CP, but the working checkbox is replaced with a clear notice that the feature is disabled for their usergroup. On save, their invisible setting is forced to off.
Features
- Plugin Active (Yes/No) – master switch. When set to No, MyBB behaves normally.
- Allowed Group IDs – comma-separated list of usergroup IDs that may use invisible mode (e.g. [c]4[/c] for Administrators). Leave empty to allow no groups.
- Disallowed groups see a notice instead of a working checkbox.
- Invisible status is forced to [c]0[/c] on save for disallowed groups.
- No template changes – safe to install and uninstall.
- Lightweight – only hooks into User CP options.
Installation
- Upload [c]stop_invisible.php[/c] to [c]inc/plugins/[/c]
- Go to Admin CP → Configuration → Plugins
- Click Install & Activate next to "Stop Invisible Mode"
- Go to Admin CP → Configuration → Settings → Stop Invisible Mode
- Set Plugin Active to Yes
- Enter the allowed group IDs (find them under Users & Groups → Groups)
- Save
Uninstallation
- Admin CP → Plugins → Deactivate
- Admin CP → Plugins → Uninstall
- Delete [c]inc/plugins/stop_invisible.php[/c] if desired
No template cleanup is required.
Settings
- Plugin Active – Enable or disable the plugin restrictions.
- Allowed Group IDs – Comma-separated usergroup IDs allowed to use invisible mode. Empty = nobody is allowed.
Notes
- Group IDs can be found in Admin CP → Users & Groups → Groups (check the URL when editing a group, e.g. [c]gid=4[/c]).
- Primary and additional groups are both checked.
- This plugin only controls the User CP option and the value saved. It does not change core Who's Online display logic beyond the user's invisible flag.
Feedback and bug reports are welcome.
