Installation

1. Upload inc/plugins/dbstudio.php and the inc/plugins/DBStudio/ folder, keeping the existing folder structure.
   
   
2. Go to Admin CP > Plugins and activate DB Studio.
   
   
3. Open Admin CP > Users & Groups > Admin Permissions and grant the DB Studio permission to the administrator groups or accounts that need access.
   
   
4. Open Admin CP > Configuration > Settings > DB Studio and adjust the options.
   
   
5. Open Admin CP > DB Studio and click the button to start a database manager session.

Security Notes

• DB Studio is protected by the MyBB Admin CP permission, optional UID/IP rules, and its own session layer.
  
  
• Use HTTPS on the Admin CP. Automatic login reads database credentials from inc/config.php; protect that file with correct server permissions.
  
  
• Keep the idle timeout and IP binding enabled unless your connection changes IP addresses frequently.

Description

This plugin lets you control which usergroups are allowed to use Invisible Mode ("Hide me from the Who's Online list").

Unlike older template-edit methods, this plugin does not modify any templates. The original [c]{$canbeinvisible}[/c] variable stays intact, so install and uninstall are clean and fully reversible.

When the plugin is active, only the usergroups you specify may enable invisible mode. All other members still see the Privacy section in User CP, but the working checkbox is replaced with a clear notice that the feature is disabled for their usergroup. On save, their invisible setting is forced to off.

It shows "Unread Reviews" if any exist, and also displays the number of new (unread) reviews.

Clicking the "Reviews" display opens a pop-up window with a link to the respective post, and marks all reviews as read.

Activating the plugin adjusts the template accordingly; deactivating it reverts the template to its original state.

Depending on the template, this may cause issues. Alternatively, the variable {$reputation_show} can be placed at the beginning of the header_welcomeblock_member_pms template, or wherever desired.

The bundled Vorro Theme Helpers plugin provides sidebar and footer settings. It is independent of VonSEO and does not require any other Vondereich plugin. No MyBB core file modifications are required.

Installation:

Back up your forum files and database.

Upload the contents of the Upload folder into your MyBB installation directory.

Install and activate Vorro Theme Helpers under ACP > Configuration > Plugins.

Import Vorro-Light-V1.8.3.xml under ACP > Templates & Style > Themes.

Choose Default as the parent theme and import both templates and stylesheets.

Configure the helper under ACP > Configuration > Settings > Vorro Theme Helpers.

Test the theme on your own account before making it the forum default.

Random avatar on registration

Assigns a random gallery avatar to newly registered users who would otherwise receive MyBB’s default avatar.

Avatar maintenance tools

Open:

Admin CP → Tools & Maintenance → Avatar Gallery Repair

Three maintenance actions are available:

• Repair Broken Avatar: Replaces missing saved local or gallery avatars. This is useful after renaming, moving, or deleting gallery files and folders.
  
  
• Fix No Avatar: Assigns random gallery avatars to users who currently have no saved avatar.
  
  
• Randomize Existing: Replaces an exact saved avatar path or URL with random gallery avatars.
  

Operations affecting 500 users or fewer run immediately. Larger operations are queued automatically and processed in batches through MyBB’s scheduled-task system.

The page displays job progress, prevents duplicate jobs, requires confirmation, and records operations in the administrator log. External avatar URLs are not changed unless entered explicitly under Randomize Existing.

Security

Every gallery selection is validated on the server. The plugin confirms that the image exists inside the configured gallery, uses an allowed extension, and does not use directory traversal or an escaping symbolic link.

Users cannot submit arbitrary filesystem paths or URLs as gallery selections.

Upgrading

Upload the new files over the existing plugin files. Reinstallation is not required.

After upgrading, open Avatar Gallery Repair once so the scheduled task and Admin CP components are synchronized. Existing settings and valid avatar assignments are preserved.
